„Bubble of Hope e.U.“

During our world trip, a conflict led to a situation in which my former husband returned to our home country while I remained in Africa on my own. I experienced this moment as unexpected and deeply unsettling. It marked a profound turning point in my life - one that shaped who I would become and altered the course of my future in lasting ways.

My life has never been a straight line, but rather a path filled with detours, risks and new beginnings. I have stepped beyond my comfort zone, left familiar paths behind, and through it all, held on to one thing – hope. It carries me, inspires me, and forms the foundation of everything I create as an artist.
One of the most formative experiences of my life was my training as a Field Guide in South Africa. For months, I lived in a tent in an open camp in the middle of the wilderness. No fences, no comforts – just direct contact with nature and wildlife. One night, an elephant destroyed the outdoor showers; on other nights, lions wandered through the camp.
There, I learned not only to study animal behaviour, but also to observe with respect, patience and attention.
The African wilderness taught me to embrace uncertainty, develop trust, and discover beauty even where it is not immediately visible.
This mindset continues to shape my work today – as a photographer, author, speaker and founder of Bubble of Hope.
